My motto is "Where there is input, there must be output", meaning eat healthy and get exercise. The mornings are cool enough (finally!) to walk with my youngest, Sat mornings are spent at the park/playground, and eating tons of fresh produce and lean meats. "Shop the perimeter at grocery stores", and most likely you'll hit the good, non-processed foods - produce, dairy, meats, grains. Happy to hear IHOP is giving healthier options!
ReplyDeleteI take my little one Alyse on long walks as often as possible and try to remember that the food choices I make will be a model for the food choices she makes!
ReplyDeleteHealthy snacks on hand! Planning ahead for those moments when I've just got to snack on something keeps me away from the vending machine or the ice cream in the freezer. Even if the snack is little, individually packaged snacks that are not necessarily healthy, the portion control is still a good thing!
