Change a Child's Story

"It’s fun to have people read to you," says Real Posh Girl.
Research has shown that kids who are reading on grade level by 4th grade have a better chance of graduating from high school. United Way is committed to improving education in North Texas, but they can’t do it alone.
Join me to “Change a Child’s Story” forever! This new United Way program engages the community around education. Volunteer with United Way as a reader, tutor or mentor and join an education movement that already has attracted more than 1,000 North Texans. You can select the opportunity that best suits your schedule and preference.

Whether it’s helping a student with their homework, talking about their week or simply reading them a story book, you can create a lasting impact for our community’s youth. There are also opportunities to work with adults and improve adult literacy. Just click here!

Thank you for helping change lives in North Texas forever!
