See's Candies is Sweet as a Nut

My family is filled with Godiva chocolate fans.  When I am searching for gifts for special occasions or thank you's, I head to a local shopping mall and shop at  Godiva store, where I'd purchase a dark chocolate rocher, or perhaps an open-shelled oyster.

Today, my chocolate store of choice is See’s Candies. No more Godiva for me. The reason is See's Candies have FINALLY opened a store in Texas and man, is it filled with sweet goodness. They also have sugar-free chocolate made with same quality as the regular. They have lollies & toffee. You can grab a can of nuts or pick up a box of peanut brittle, which is Warren Buffet's favorite.

I'm a dark chocolate lover. Milk chocolate is too rich for my taste buds, but a great dark chocolate morsel can send me to heaven. ;) See’s Candies dark chocolate caramels are divine. The posh boy likes the key lime truffles. The posh girl likes the variety. It should be noted that she is a chocoholic and can never choose just one, which she inherited from the Real Geek Dad. See's takes care of you and treats every customer as if you were a king or queen. Their prices are good, too—probably lower than Godiva.  And fashionista in me loves the white lab coats that the salespeople wear.

Since Teacher's Appreciation Week and Mother's Day is around the corner, you can guess where you will find me. BTW their unique wrapping technique is genius! With one pull, you have opened up a sweet gift from Mary See.
