Heroes and Handbags

Some people loves shoes while others are purse fanatics. If this is you, come join me at 7th annual "Heroes and Handbags" brunch on Friday, May 4, 2012 beginning at 9:30 AM at Hilton Anatole. In addition to the brunch, there is a silent auction of one of a kind vintage and new designer handbags.

"Heroes and Handbags" benefits Heroes for Children, an agency that provide financial and social assistance to Texas families with children (0-22 years of age) battling cancer. Heroes for Children is unique in the fact that they raise money to help relieve the financial burden that is often coupled with the diagnosis of cancer in a child. They pay for things such as: rent, car payments, groceries, electricity bills and even go as far as throwing events for birthdays, graduations and other “milestone” events that take place in a child’s life.
