Sea Breeze Lives Up To Its Name

As you walk into this "little hole in the wall" in Plano, you feel like you've entered a seafood shop off the coast of California. Sea Breeze doubles as a restaurant & fish market and serves as a one-stop shop for all things seafood. They are launch a new menu for 2012, and I was fortunate to sample some of their specialties.
HOMEMADE SOUPS: Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder, Seafood Gumbo
The menu features traditional dishes such as seafood gumbo from Louisiana and lobster rolls from New England, which utilizes bread flown in from the Northeast to add to the dish's authenticity. Since opening nearly five years ago, the restaurant has become known for its accurate recreation of a true New England-style lobster roll, thanks to the chops of co-founder and seafood expert Rick Oruch.
Seafood Quesadilla, Lobster Roll, Grilled Tacos, Mini Crab Cakes
Sea Breeze now offers all sandwiches on gluten-free bread!  Local bakery, Local Oven, has created a gluten-free option for Sea Breeze guests. They also offer many choices for your children, and the meat and fish are just as fresh!
KIDS KORNER: Homemade Halibut Fish Sticks with Fries & Hush Puppies
Of course the kitchen is only one half of Sea Breeze, which also features a full display case stocked with fresh seafood flown in daily, with the addition of live lobster tanks.

They have one of the best bowls of clam chowder that I have tasted, and they also offer steamed crabs like you have in Maryland, halibut from Alaska, and fish tacos from California. Head out the door and drive to Sea Breeze for some of the freshest seafood in North Texas.

  1. I ate this when i was in Miami. Miami is the place to taste and buy fresh seafood along with a a dynamic selection of shrimp, live crabs, clams. I recommend seafood lovers to have seafood in Miami.
